Cancellations and refunds

Bookings are essential and boundaries apply (We do not pick up / drop off from rural address’s).

Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure and no shows will not be entitled to a refund or a transfer to another date. Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to departure will be refunded less 10% of the fare (Plus Agents Cancellation Fees).

We require all fares from the airport to be pre-paid and is non refundable if your flight is cancelled, delayed or you have been waiting in the wrong place.

Budget Buses and Shuttles and its agents accept no liability for any loss, damage or expense due to delays from any cause.

Please label luggage to your final destination, as we cannot accept responsibility for unlabelled luggage

Collapsible, self propelled (propelled by the person sitting in them) wheelchairs and walker frames can be carried but we need to be notified at the time of your reservation. No electric wheelchairs or scooters can be carried.

Under the provisions of the Smoke Free Environments Act (1990), our services are required to be smoke-free.

Passengers who require somebody to lift them on and off the shuttle must arrange for this assistance at pick up and drop off points. Drivers are not permitted to participate in lifting passengers.

Timetables published are indicative only. Budget Buses and Shuttles Timaru reserves the right to alter prices and timetables and to arrange alternative transport and routes without notice.

  • Timaru Budget Shuttles and Bus services offer transport to Christchurch city and airport. We travel from Timaru to Temuka, Geraldine, Ashburton and Christchurch return. We can pick you up any where along the State Highway 1 at Winchester, Orari, Rangitata, Hinds, Chertsey, Rakaia, Dunsandel, Burnham and Rolleston. Or pick you up from your Timaru home and take you straight to the Christchurch airport door.
